Pottery Barn Meets LL Bean | Minneapolis MN

This happy home featured a dark and isolated kitchen, a cramped and uinviting entry and just about everything other awful thing imaginable from the late 70's. The young family cornered themselves in a three season porch with views the the backyard. With a little Shelterization, the three season porch became a family room open to a new kitchen creating a new center for the house. Other remodeled spaces throughout the main level were connected to it with small moves. A natural palette of collected stones, oak and maple trim, tumbled slate and Cambria countertops kept the open plan warm. This project was very carefully planned, down to the details, to stay on task and on budget.
