The Biggest LIttle Bath | Woodbury, Minnesota
Problem: Make one bathroom out of two dank, old, claustrophobic bathrooms, but still make it occasionally function as two bathrooms, but feel really big, bright and peaceful, but stay within the existing 8'x10' space.
Solution: Sliding doors modulate spaces and towel racks double as door handles. Cabinets are shallower, lower, and wall hung with an extra high toe space. The walls and tile ae light and the floor is a dark slate. The divider wall stops at the top of the door and a skylight is centered over it. Fixtures are white and chrome and mirrors fill spaces between trim and cabinetry. Storage is ample and organized. The shower curtain is ceiling mounted and can disappear. Once circulation path moves through the whole space and is maintained at a 50" width. |
