International Wolf Center

The addition to the International Wolf Center in Ely, Minnesota includes viewing spaces, classrooms, and public areas. The main feature of the addition is a multi-purpose room which seats 120 people with the wolves, themselves forming a dramatic backdrop through windows designed to elicit the woods beyond. The stone & wood detailing recall elements of the existing forest service building.
