MICAH

The campus master plan for the Minnesota Institute of Contemplation and Healing (MICAH), located in farmland just outside of Crookston, Minnesota, focuses on sustainable building practices on a number of scales. The site is configured to celebrate the prairie landscape, the Red Lake River, and to allow the visitors to retreat from the business of everyday life. From geothermal heat pumps and passive solar design to community built structures, the design uses practices that heal the body, mind, spirit, and planet.
