Perhaps the most sustainable thing we can do is learn to adapt our existing housing stock; essentially, recycle our homes. Yet, too often it's difficult to see how our existing homes could be adapted to fit the lifestyle of a modern family. The Reality Check is our quest to open your eyes to the possibilites that exist in your current home. Here's how it works. Email us, call us, or purchase your Reality Check online. Within 2 days, we'll give you a call to schedule your Reality Check. Then, we show up with a tape measure, tracing paper, pen and a calculator. You give us the grand tour and your vision of how you want to live. We take some basic measurements and sketch a general floor plan of what you currently have. After that, we sketch out options, run some ballpark cost estimates, and help you make some informed decisions. In the end, we leave you with a pile of messy drawings, some loose numbers, and a handful of other inventive ideas. |
