Sir Otis Macintosh, to be exact.
Otis joined the Shelter team in February of 2013. Working mostly on the research side of our process his expertise and insights have proven invaluable here at Shelter. His areas of exploration focus primarily on sleeping positions and their effects on canine relaxation. Otis’ research also extends into areas as diverse as the chew resistant properties of various materials (focusing most recently on the durability of rawhide and similar dried leather assemblies). He is also on the cutting edge of establishing the maximum quantity of walks that can be extracted in any given day.
Otis is also the self appointed greeter here at Shelter central command where most visitors are, in his mind, arriving with the sole purpose of paying attention to him.
